I’ve spent the holidays tucked up in my little studio space, doodling away images of the Keweenaw Peninsula, peppering my time with periods of knitting, and lots of lo-fi hiphop.
These nine Yooper Valentines came to life around Christmas 2019. The sweet morels starting out the parade, then on to the rest that were inspired by friends who shared in some fun on facebook coming up with ideas on what to name them. I still need to do a “I pucking love you” valentine…
I hope you like to look at them, and that they bring you great appreciation and love for the beautiful place that is the UP. They’re meant to be cheeky and meant to be tokens to give to people you cherish. Every one of these came from fond and vivid memories I have of the Keweenaw.

Download includes three pages (8.5” x 11”), the first page of the document is the front of your valentines, a second reverse page is to be printed on the back of the first page that shows the valentines messages already printed, and the third, an optional back page that is blank that allows you to fill in your own messages. Final cut-out size of Valentines measure approximately 2.75” x 2.75”
